Who is behind the brand
Eric Flag is a French brand founded in 2018 by Eric, a Swiss YouTuber and calisthenics athlete, and Nicolas, who runs operations. The company is FLAG & KO, registered in Paris, with Eric Mermod as director. The team shown on the site has five people, including a designer, a community manager and someone on SEO and customer service. The site claims more than 300,000 customers across Europe and a 4.8 out of 5 rating on more than 4,000 Trustpilot reviews. The products are presented as designed by athletes, for athletes.
What they make
The catalog goes beyond street workout, with benches, kettlebells and mats, but the core is calisthenics. The wooden parallettes are beech, in two grip lengths, 15 and 30 cm, 9 or 10 cm off the floor, with anti-slip pads. The Elevation Bars are the tall steel version, 33 cm, with a round 3.8 cm or square 4.2 cm grip. The push-up handles reuse the beech on a steel base. For pull-ups, four answers: a freestanding station adjustable from 105 to 210 cm in 5 cm steps, with an optional dip bar; an indoor wall bar with built-in dip handles; an outdoor wall bar with anti-corrosion treatment; a telescopic door bar. The Levitate Bar is a freestanding bar with four heights, 85 to 135 cm, for dips, rows and holds. The dip bars are a 90 cm steel pair. The rings are birch, 18 cm across, with 5.1 m straps. A dip belt, latex bands in three strengths, two weighted vests up to 20 and 30 kg in 1.2 kg plates, and liquid chalk complete the range.
Most product pages publish dimensions and load rating. Where the products are made is not stated.
What to check before you order
For the wooden parallettes, the question is length: a 15 cm grip for the pair that travels, 30 cm for margin in handstand. Both are rated for 150 kg, less than most competitors, which matters if you train weighted. To get under the bar, the Elevation Bars go up to 33 cm in steel. For a wall bar, look at the distance from the wall: 55.5 cm on the indoor bar, 65 cm on the outdoor one. A muscle-up needs the second. For the door bar, you need a frame 72 to 95 cm wide and at least 4 cm deep. The freestanding station takes 117 by 105.5 cm of floor and weighs 28.5 kg, so measure the room before ordering.
What you cannot check from the product page: the place of manufacture, delivery times, which only appear at checkout, the load rating of the push-up handles and the weight of the dip bars.
The practical side: shipping from France, free to an EU relay point from 60 euros, customs fees possible beyond the EU. Heavy items ship in separate boxes. Returns within 30 days, at your cost unless the product is defective, with a prepaid label deducted from the refund if you take it. Legal warranty of conformity, plus two years stated on some pages such as the Elevation Bars.
Who it suits
Someone building a full setup from a French seller, with no customs and no language barrier, and an answer for every kind of home: the freestanding station or the Levitate Bar if you cannot drill, the outdoor bar if you have a wall outside. The weighted vests in 1.2 kg plates are a good entry into weighted calisthenics.
It is not the brand to choose if you want wooden parallettes rated for heavy loads, or documented local manufacturing.
My tests
I have not tested an Eric Flag product yet. The beech parallettes are in my parallettes picks, on spec sheet alone. A full test will come when a pair goes under the caliper.
