The Gravity Urban Cup is an international street workout contest held every winter at the Ateliers des Capucins in Brest (Finistère, Brittany) by the Gravity Street Workout association with MX Sport and Street Workout Games. It takes place inside Urban Zone, a five-day urban sports festival (parkour, breakdance, skate, basketball) that claims more than 50,000 visitors. Entry is free.
The competition day gathers around twenty athletes in three categories: men’s statics, men’s agility and women’s freestyle. Each category runs as 1v1 single-elimination battles, scored by a panel of three judges. Athletes apply with a 45 to 60 second video and the organizers select the brackets. Since 2026 the winner of each category receives €500 and a WSWCF Academy coaching course.
The rest of the festival offers beginner sessions, workshops, demonstrations and contests open to the public. Gravity also runs the Gravity Armoric Battle Tour (freestyle, Plourin-lès-Morlaix, August) and the Gravity Armoric Tournament (set and reps and streetlifting, Saint-Pol-de-Léon, April).
